What everybody does right after finishing their Wordpress installation upon setting up their blog, beside posting, is to install some plugins to add more functionalities to their blog, and there are actually thousands of them out there that fit everyone’s needs.
In addition, we tend to try plugins that other recommend, no? But, our life gets harder as we have to upload each plugin and update it whenever necessary.
So there’s one plugin out there that will make our life MUCH easier whenever dealing with plugins, and we really mean it! Check it out.
It’s Plugin Central, and that’s the plugin you must install first before you install any other plugins.
What this plugin basically does is enabling you to install any plugin you want through a web interface (your Wordpress administration panel), so there will be no more transferring of files via FTP to your server in order to install your plugins!
That means whenever you stumble upon some interesting plugin, all you have to do is copying its download link then inserting it in Plugin Central and it will take care of installing it, very smooth! Oh and it doesn’t just install new plugins, it also updates your existing ones with a single click.
One additional feature in Plugin Central is allowing you to copy a set of plugins from one blog to another! Think of how much time you would be saving.
