Save your Firefox session

Save FirefoxOne of the good features I like in Firefox is its ability to save your session if for any reason it had to restart due to a crash or after the installation of a new add-on. But what’s annoying is that you cannot save your session on demand, so if you choose to close Firefox, your tabs will not be restored next time you open it.

To save your session, some suggest that you end Firefox process using the task manager, by doing so you will be forcing Firefox to restore your session since it will think it has crashed. Still, this is not efficient because Firefox automatically saves the session every certain period of time, so your recent opened tabs will not be restored. Use Gmail as a storage device

Gmail iconHere’s a good software that might probably be the substitute for using USB sticks whenever you need to carry around your important files and documents.

Gmail Drive is a software that you can use to store your files right on your Gmail account. However you do not need it to do it the classical way, i.e. attaching the file and send it to yourself. Instead, an additional drive will be created in your computer so that you can drag and drop files into it as shown in the picture below.

BurglarHave you ever noticed whenever you buy a new hard drive that you will never be able to make use of its whole capacity? For example if you have a 100GB hard drive, you will be able store no more than 92GB of data.

That’s actually the case of laptop’s hard drive. I have a 100GB hard drive with two partitions, C drive is 85.5GB while D drive is 6.5GB, total is 92 GB! So where’s the rest?

How to Flush DNS cache (Windows/MAC/Linux)

FlushDNS caching can be very useful and will considerably speed up your name resolution experience for domains that you visit frequently.
